Name: Ted's Piggybank Date: July 10, 2011 Where: Calhoun Street Promenade Time: 4-8pm

A valuable member of our community is in need. Ted Huffman recently had emergency surgery to remove a large intestinal blockage. Though the surgery was long and extensive, surprisingly or perhaps not so surprising since it’s our “beloved stand strong” Ted, he is having a slow, but sure recovery. Baby steps, says his wife, Donna! It’s time to help the Huffmans. In response to the financial and medical costs that the Huffman family is facing, local community organizers have established the “Ted’s Piggy Bank, Giving for a Guy We Love” fund and a special fundraiser day slated for July 10th. Ted is well known throughout this community as the owner of Bluffton BBQ; “7 days without Bluffton BBQ will make one WEAK.” His little red caboose has gone from a pit stop at a gas station on Hwy 46 to a new family style restaurant that has been an integral part of Old Town Bluffton. He and Donna have had a long term honeymoon with this community often generously jumping in to help others in need. It is time to give back to a valuable member of this community with your donation today. No donation is too big or too small. Please feel free to contact Karen Lavery, at 384-1442, for more information or any valuable ideas for other fund raising. Donations can be made directly to Palmetto State Bank to the Ted’s Piggybank account. Donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your consideration,The Committee for Ted’s Piggy Bank Chair, Karen Lavery
